LAFD Intranet Moves to Production

After a successful launch of the Los Angeles Fire Department website, Imagistic teamed up with Lightray Productions once again to architect, design, and develop the LAFD Intranet, an internal application to help the operational staff manage, organize and distribute content to the entire department.

Bringing together a broad set of content from all the internal divisions and stakeholders, the LAFD Intranet was built to enable easy access to the most up-to-date and relevant content related to the department.

"As with the public site, the LAFD Intranet was built using the Drupal content management system." explained Imagistic president, Kevin Howard Goldberg. "Additionally, we built a few custom modules and are leveraging Apache's Solr search platform to make finding the right content efficient and accurate."
